This first decade of the new millenium saw Strong Fire Company purchase our 1974 Mack pumper in the year 2000, replacing the aging (but still functional) 1955 Maxim pumper.  A new building was constructed by members and Amish craftsmen in the parking lot behind the original building and was dedicated in June of 2003.  The original building was sold and is now Bailey's Carpet Store.  In 2006 the company purchased a 1990 Ford F-250 pickup truck from Humane Fire Company of Pottsville PA.  Squad 25 is a multi-functional unit for brush and woodlands fires, vehicle accidents, traffic control, lighting, searches, and minor fires- as well as providing support for Engine 25.  The members of Strong Fire Company are proud to serve the residents of Mount Carmel Township and the surrounding communities.
